Agency assist. South Bank Road at Sund Road, Elma. 12:13 a.m. Fire under a power pole, is sparking in the gravel and a small fire. There is a hot wire on the pole and ground and sparking.

Jan. 19

Noise problem or complaint. 400 block Lambert Road, Elma. 8:05 a.m. Ongoing loud noises coming from location – reporting party said it sounds like a jet engine taking off.

Traffic hazard. Westbound State Route 12 at Schouweiler Road, Elma. 2:15 p.m. White male, last seen wearing black/red jacket with blue jeans, playing chicken with traffic.

Wildlife animal problem. First block Newman Creek Road, Satsop. 9:39 a.m. Subjects shooting ducks in the pond across the field from reporting party.

Jan. 20

Domestic violence act in progress. First block Blacktail Ridge Lane, Elma. 9:38 p.m. Wife punched reporting party in the face five times and has scratched him. Aid refused. Verbal in background.

Game violation. First block Meadow Lark Road, Montesano. 8:59 a.m. Believe that there were two males poaching elk in the field behind house – reporting party did not hear gun shot but can see the males loading an elk into the back of the pickup.

Suspicious person. First block Heise Road S., Elma. 11:52 a.m. Transient in the driveway, appears to be hiding something in his coat. The subject wouldn’t answer reporting party’s questions, became pushy so reporting party popped him in the nose.

Domestic violence act. Elma McCleary Road at Fairgrounds Road eastbound, Elma 11:59 a.m. Occupants of a yellow VW Bug are fighting. Male swinging at the female.
