Advanced fire requested. Is a controlled burn, but engine requested to continue. Appears to be a legal burn, units clear.
Police information message: 5300 block of U.S. 12, Malone. 4:38 p.m. Post office boxes were left open and unlocked. Unknown if mail was stolen. About 25 boxes left unlocked. Appears to be oversight.
Malicious mischief: First block of Elma Gate Road West, Oakville. 6:23 p.m. Reporting party says vehicle window was broken. It appears to have been hit by several pellets, possibly from a shotgun. Nothing missing.
Theft: 800 block of Monte-Elma Road, Satsop. 9:51 a.m. Reporting party says wood stolen out of her yard. Tire tracks visible in yard. Cord of hemlock worth $160, reporting party states.
Vehicle prowl: 500 block of Middle Satsop Road, Montesano. 10:28 a.m. Vehicle’s passenger side window broken. Officer left contact information on vehicle.

Agency assist: 1100 block of State Route 12, Montesano. 8:53 a.m. Electrical fire. Heavy smoke. Occupants evacuated. There is a cat inside. Reporting party advised to stay outside. No natural gas or ammunition in the house. No flames showing. Investigating. Isolated to electrical panel. Cancel incoming.
Agency assist: 400 block of Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 8:41 a.m. Fire reported in chimney. Flames visible. Fire has died down. All incoming can cancel.
Dec. 1
Reckless act or driving: Eastbound U.S. Highway 12 at South Third Street, Elma. 4:47 a.m. Vehicle well over 80 mph, unable to stop due to being in an unmarked vehicle. Vehicle is now well over 100 mph.
Animal bite: (Address redacted), Elma. 2:47 p.m. 15-year-old male bitten by a dog in park. Puncture wound and lacerations to hand. Family asks to be contacted at Summit Pacific Medical Center.
Found property: 300 block of eastbound State Route 8, Elma. 2:23 p.m. Baggie of meth outside on the ground between male restroom and coffee stand. Reporting party left it there. Requests it be picked up and disposed of. Small amount of crystals disposed of.

Traffic hazard: Oakhurst Drive and Menzo Haverly Road, Elma. 10:24 a.m. Loose cow walking in roadway. Cow believed to have crossed railroad tracks and might have returned home.
Domestic violence act: (Address withheld), Elma. 8:02 p.m. Reporting party says exboyfriend punched her several times and stole items. He left on foot toward river. May have kitchen knife. Officers located subject. Subject requests aid for drug related issue.

Domestic violence act in progress: 600 block of East Main Street, Elma. 5:03 p.m. Reporting party in verbal with daughter. Daughter hit reporting party in the head then entered hospital. One in custody.
Vehicle theft: First block of Porter Creek Road, Oakville. 12:14 p.m. Reporting party states 4×8 foot custom utility trailer stolen during past few weeks. Trailer was on disputed property.

Theft: 100 block of Moore Road, Satsop. 1:10 p.m. Reporting party states cabin was broken into. Medication taken.
Dec. 11
Wildlife animal problem: 700 block of Monte-Elma Road, Satsop. 2:45 a.m. Owl found on bridge, unable to fly away. Owl gone upon officer’s arrival. Pigeon feathers in area, likely killed by owl.
Malicious mischief: First block of Bowe Lane, Satsop. 9:18 a.m. Mailbox damaged overnight.

Traffic hazard: Wynooche Valley Road and Geissler Road, Montesano. 5:17 a.m. Reporting party states there are four horses in the road, is afraid they will be hit. Horses located. Officer secured and fed and watered six horses in arena on property. Unable to contact reporting party.
Dec. 13
Weapons violation: Brady Loop Road East, Montesano. 6:12 p.m. Reporting party states grandfather threatened to shoot grandmother. Grandfather is a felon believed to be in possession of at least one rifle, one shotgun and one pistol. Grandfather taken into custody

Agency assist: First block of Sickman Loop, Oakville. 12:53 p.m. House full of black smoke. No propane or natural gas into the house. No hazards in the house. Heaters in the house. Possibly a candle was left burning. No flames seen, just a lot of black smoke.

Theft: First block of McConkey Avenue, McCleary. 12:08 p.m. Reporting party says locking mailbox was broken into and mail stolen. No other mailboxes affected.
Theft: 200 block of Middle Satsop Road, Montesano. 6:21 p.m. Reporting party states Christmas trees have been stolen from tree farm over past two nights. Requests extra patrols.
Dec. 17
Malicious mischief: Brady Loop Road East, Montesano. 8:57 a.m. Reporting party states tires on vehicle were slashed after disagreement with exgirlfriend.
Animal problem: 300 block of Monte-Brady Road, Montesano. 8:42 a.m. Reporting party state potbellied pig keeps wandering onto their property. Unknown where it belongs. Reporting party intends to keep pig if they can catch it.
Dec. 18
Animal problem: 300 block of Katon Road, Montesano. 8:02 p.m. Reporting party found sealion in parking lot. Appears as though it may have been shot with a shotgun on right side. Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife officials investigated and believe the animal had not been shot. It was gone by the next morning.
