Aug. 12

Suspicious vehicle. 100 block Foster Road, Montesano. 6:28 p.m. Request check of unoccupied dark gray car parked in corn field – approximately 1,000 feet south of location down gravel road, vehicle seen driving in the area past 10 minutes. Vehicle damaged corn fields – unknown where driver and/or passengers are but trespassing on property.

Fight no DVA. 300 block W. Main St., Elma. 1:57 a.m. Large group of people fighting in the area.

Burglary report. 900 block Lake Hill Road, Montesano. 7:08 a.m. Residence was broken into overnight. Unknown suspect. Entry was made through broken door.

Aug. 13

Reckless act or driving. Monte Brady Road and Monte Elma Road eastbound, Montesano. 11:48 a.m. State patrol was behind a red Dodge Charger, 100 mph-plus, high rate of speed, eastbound on Highway 12, got off on Monte Brady Road, believe to be now eastbound on Monte Elma. No longer behind the vehicle.

Assault in progress. 400 block N. 3rd St., Elma. 2:47 a.m. Reporting party advised he was jumped by multiple males – reporting party’s eye is swollen. Aid declined. Was walking by Les Schwab and a male came running up behind him and punched him in the back of the head. He ran away from them.

Suspicious person. South Union Road and Remmen Road, Elma. 10:19 a.m. Ongoing problem with a male transient living alongside the roadway for the past year, throws garbage around. He resides between the bridge and garbage dump alongside the roadway.

Domestic violence act in progress. Highway 12 westbound at milepost 23, Elma. 11:40 p.m. On shoulder of road, girlfriend is hitting him, both are on foot. Female chasing after reporting party.

Burglary report. First block Valentine Road, Montesano. 12:42 p.m. Arrived home last night and noticed people had been inside the property. The door has been unlocked – nothing taken, broke some things, left cell phones in the residence. Blue four-door Mazda – body damage to the front right side.

Rescue needed. Forest 2270, Discovery Peak, Montesano. 7:20 p.m. Reporting party and three others are hiking. Tried to make it to Discovery Peak and are lost. No water, only have clothes they are wearing.

Aug. 14

Malicious mischief. South Bank Road and Delezenne Road, Elma. Disturbing graffiti on the pavement – wanting it removed. Unknown how long it has been there and unknown suspects. New to area.

Trespass. 5100 block Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 2:16 p.m. Transient male has been hanging out in the day-use park for most of the summer. Was found naked yesterday. Subject has been living in the woods. Black Chevy pickup with canopy.

Aug. 15

Non-injury vehicle accident. 100 block Stamper Road, Elma. 12:53 p.m. Chevy half ton pickup in ditch. Swerved to miss a male who was walking in the middle of the roadway, unknown where pedestrian is now.

Animal problem. First block Murray Place, Elma. 8:51 p.m. Aggressive dogs have reporting party’s granddaughter circled. Granddaughter is past mailboxes, unknown if she has been bitten. Neighbors have sticks and are going to help children.

Suspicious circumstances. 300 block S. 7th St., Montesano. 4:36 a.m. Says there is a guy in her house, unknown how he got there, her step-son is talking to him now; but he has tried the bedroom door a few times. Says the guy in the bedroom heard him say he has a gun and would get $500 if he shot her.
