Suspicious circumstances. 1300 block U.S. Highway 12, Montesano. 10:47 a.m. Saw a white van with spare tire on back floating in Wynoochee River on the south side of the bridge, visible from the bridge. No indication of anyone around the vehicle.

Dec. 21

Hit and run. Cloquallum Road and Hicklin Road, Elma. 5:04 p.m. Red truck with flashing lights in the windows, hit reporting party in the rear bumper and kept going. Reporting party is not injured, bumper has damage. She tried to follow the truck, but lost it.

Dec. 23

Vehicle accident. First block Calder Road, Elma. 1:43 a.m. At the bottom of the hill, heard a loud sound, like a sheet of metal or something, then heard screaming and saw some flashing lights. Upside down vehicle in the creek in one foot of water — several subjects around the vehicle, it is unoccupied.

Disorderly conduct. 800 block E. Main St., Elma. 10:49 p.m. Two disorderly guests — male and female being loud/disturbing other guests. Owner asked them to leave, being verbal, refusing to leave, yelling racial slurs. Subjects threatening to kill the owner. Owner has now separated himself from them.

Dec. 24

Vehicle accident with injuries. Porter Creek Road and U.S. Highway 12, Oakville. 1:11 p.m. Vehicle vs. pedestrian. Male is laying in the middle of the road. Vehicle that hit him is still there. Male calling stating subject ran out in front of vehicle and reporting party slammed on brakes, struck subject. Male subject is breathing but unconscious. Requesting airlift.

Dec. 25

Traffic offense. U.S. Highway 12 and Clemons Road, Montesano. 1:40 a.m. White car crossed over intersection, is westbound in eastbound lanes, then pulled over on the shoulder by the bark business on Olympic Highway. Out with the trooper, out with one resisting — trooper has one in custody.
