Feb. 14

Reckless act or driving. Westbound state Route 8 and Heise Road, Elma. 2:41 p.m. White Geo Metro, lane travel, near collisions. Failing to yield, 70 mph; stopping second bridge; one detained.

Feb. 15

Disorderly conduct. 700 block E. Main St., Elma. 4:40 a.m. Male in the store refusing to leave, yelling and harassing customers. Last seen wearing green sweatshirt, gray vest. Is possibly under the influence of something, jumping around. Earlier said he was waiting for a ride, has been there about 20 minutes. He’s now out by the gas pumps.

Feb. 16

Reckless act or driving. First block Wenzel Slough Road, Elma. 7:38 p.m. Older small pickup was doing doughnuts on Wenzel Slough, now parked near boat launch. Vehicle left toward the end of Wenzel Slough.

Reckless act or driving. 200 block Middle Satsop Road, Montesano. 10:14 a.m. Reckless driver in white F-150 extended cab with missing passenger side mirror, blew through stop sign in Mason County, passing cars in passing and no-passing zones.

Feb. 19

Traffic hazard. Monte-Elma Road and Glenn Road North, Montesano. 7:15 a.m. Three horses walking down the middle of the roadway. Horses off roadway near Glenn Road.

Feb. 20

Assault. 600 block E. Young St., Elma. 7:07 p.m. A 31-year-old male bleeding from mouth and nose — subject was previously in a fight. Was punched. Is breathing normally. Unknown suspect for assault.

Feb. 21

Animal problem. First block Fairgrounds Road, Elma. 10:50 a.m. Gold/white pitbull with thick collar, normally restrained, is loose and charged reporting party while walking her dog.

Feb. 22

Theft. First block McConkey Lane, McCleary. 4:02 p.m. Neighbor continually entering reporting party’s property, currently missing paperwork, tools, etc.

Domestic violence act in progress. U.S. Highway 12 westbound, Mile Post 27, Oakville. 8:33 a.m. New gray Dodge Ram pickup. Reporting party’s boyfriend was to take her home, and he started grabbing the reporting party. She bit his hand and punched him in the face. Still westbound on U.S. 12. Male saying that he is taking female to Elma Police Department. Washington State Patrol will provide courtesy ride to female to Olympia.

Feb. 23

Suspicious circumstances. First block Stephens Road, Satsop. 8:07 p.m. Possibly intoxicated male in a black ’90s Toyota Tacoma parked in reporting party’s driveway. Reporting party walked up to his window after sitting there for 10 minutes, male put his thumbs up and eyes were red and bloodshot. Truck is running, he now appears to be passed out in the drivers seat.
