Three horses get in trouble with the law on two occasions

Nov. 29

Animal problem. Minkler Road and Grandview Lane, Montesano. 8:38 p.m. Horse down an embankment, approximately 20-25 feet down, just off the roadway — reporting party’s kids are at the roadway with flashlights, have attempted to locate owners and have not been successful yet. Owner located. On scene and waiting for removal.

Nov. 30

Rollover accident. 500 block Elma-McCleary Road, Elma. 11:20 a.m. Reporting party in a yellow Freightliner truck rolled over in front of location. Truck is in the ditch but flatbed trailer is blocking. Not injured. Westbound lane partially blocked. Lost trailer — cab is upright.

Dec. 2

DUI alcohol or drugs. 600 block E. Spruce Ave. 5:42 p.m. Request check of subject in an unknown vehicle that went down an old driveway at the very end of Spruce, vehicle is rested against a tree, driver is spinning the tires trying to back up. Old driveway is now covered in grass. One in custody for driving under the influence. Tow has vehicle.

Agency assist. 100 block Porter Creek Road, Oakville. 10:48 p.m. Shop on fire. Shop is not attached to the house — approximately 20 feet away. Fully engulfed, large amount of propane and gas inside. Will remain on scene for hot spots.

Trespass. 100 block Newman Creek Road, Satsop. 11:35 a.m. Camp setup with blue tarp, no one seen today. Camp about 100 yards to the south of location,

Dec. 3

Civil matter. First block Eaton Drive, Montesano. 10:57 p.m. Roommate trying to make reporting party move out before the expected date of Dec. 10, made threats to kill him, as well. Male held a knife to the reporting party’s throat on Nov. 23, no weapons in play tonight. Parties separated inside the house in separate rooms. Has been living there for several months.

Agency assist. 1200 block Monte-Elma Road, Elma. 8:44 a.m. Black Honda Fit, request to stop and detain — custody dispute resulting in domestic violence. Male struck someone with his vehicle when leaving after custody dispute. Believe subject is at the cemetery now. Male rammed the other party’s vehicle 3 times with his car prior to leaving scene.

Traffic hazard. 500 block Williams Creek Road, Oakville. 8:26 p.m. Two wandering horses in roadway.

Dec. 4

Reckless act or driving. Elma-McCleary Road, Elma. 6:34 p.m. Silver or gold Honda Accord lane travel, erratic speeds since state Route 108. Almost approaching the fairgrounds now.

Accident with entrapment. 500 block Middle Satsop Road, Montesano. 6:39 a.m. Vehicle West Fork of Satsop River bridge, female is down in the field trapped in her vehicle. Vehicle is down the embankment. Female is out of vehicle, she said she in not injured. Roadway is extremely icy. Tow has removed vehicle.
