June 30

Citizen assist. First block Eagle Drive, Elma. 1:43 p.m. 8-year-old child locked inside bathroom. Deadbolt locked. Child is alone.

Reckless act or driving. State Route 12 westbound milepost 19, Elma. 5:46 p.m. Silver Subaru and black Ford F-150 racing – lane travel, swerving in and out of traffic, unsafe passing – not using blinkers at high speeds 80-plus mph.

Verbal argument. 1000 block Oakhurst Drive, Elma. 7:40 p.m. Female last seen wearing a blue dress, running down the street after unknown male, last seen wearing blue shirt and shorts – in a verbal. Throwing items at each other. Currently on foot running down the street.

Traffic hazard. 300 block Cloquallum Road, Elma. 9:30 p.m. Cow wandering in roadway.

July 1

Disorderly conduct. 200 block South Union Road, Elma. 2:19 a.m. Brother intoxicated and disorderly. Brother and parents are yelling – audible in background.

Civil matter. 300 block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 12:29 p.m. Tenants sister-in-law and boyfriend are not paying rent for past 9 months. They live in a 5th wheel on the property and recently wrote on the side of it bad things about the reporting party.

DUI – alcohol or drugs. First block Wenzel Slough Road, Elma. 1:14 p.m. Heavily intoxicated male in a beat up dark green Toyota four-wheel-drive SUV with gray hood. Reporting party had contact with him at a store, followed him to location. Vehicle is currently parked.

July 2

Domestic violence act in progress. First block County Farm Road, Montesano. 1:14 a.m. Ex-girlfriend was shoving reporting party, left in blue older style van.

Firework complaint. 400 block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 10:53 p.m. Subjects lighting off fireworks, down the road. Caller concerned because there was a fire out in the area earlier.

July 3

Reckless act or driving. eastbound State Route 12 and Monte Brady Road, Montesano. 8:49 a.m. Dark gray small car, smoking tailpipe. Was reckless on and off the highway, very high rate. Reporting party followed it for several miles trying to get a plate, vehicle was trying to get away from reporting party.

July 4

Theft. First block Whites Street, Elma. Theft of firearm from residence – yesterday or day before. Believe suspect is construction crew who has been in the house the last couple of days.

July 5

Assault. 100 block W. Broadway Ave., Montesano. 1:14 a.m. Occurred at a boat launch in Brady – patient in Community ER – 18 year old male came into location with an arrow in his chest – advised someone was attempting to shoot a tree and missed – subject is intoxicated.
