Oct. 13

Burglary. 200 block Sand Creek Road, McCleary. 4:42 p.m. House broken into sometime past three hours. Unknown suspect. Unknown how entry gained. Purse and jewelry box taken. Dogs in the field. Evidence track.

Animal problem. First block Roup Road, Montesano. 9:56 a.m. Black Lab, gray muzzle has been hanging around the house. Appears friendly but afraid will cause a fight with reporting party’s dog. Canvassing area. Reporting party advised that the dog has been bitten on the head/face area when it approached her dog which was restrained. Reporting party not sure if the dog was injured or not.

Oct. 14

Traffic hazard. 400 block Mox Chehalis Road, Malone. 1:23 p.m. Advise PUD of tree in wires on Mox Chehalis. PUD advised.

Accident-department employee. 500 block E Wilder Hill, Montesano. 8:45 p.m. Damage to patrol vehicle due to flying trampolines.

Suspicious person/circumstance. Devonshire Road at Pioneer Avenue W, Montesano. 11:45 p.m. Off-duty officer saw a suspicious person at the bus stop at location past few. Wearing all black and hood up, wearing work gloves.

Oct. 15

Malicious mischief. First block Willis Road, Montesano. 12:56 p.m. Damage to hayfields by vehicle, occurred yesterday. Suspect information. Will recall when he’s home later.

Theft, vehicle. 500 block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 12:48 a.m. Reporting party awoken by dogs barking, went outside to find her 2006 blue Chevy Aveo four-door missing. Reporting party did not see anything suspicious outside, could not hear anything else. Not behind on payments and no one has keys to the vehicle. Advised husband left keys in the vehicle last night.

Utility problem. 700 block Mox Chehalis Road, McCleary. 2:09 p.m. Power lines down. Is on fire and spreading to the hilltop near the tree line. PUD advised. Live power line down across the driveway. Fire is out and just smoldering now. Road is blocked by traffic, heavy smoke. No flames visible from where reporting party is.

Trespass. 300 block Monte Elma Road, Montesano. 9:22 a.m. Transient male wandered into the building. Has since gone outside but is still in the area. Initially found him inside the office buildings. Reporting party contacted company owners. Suspect white male, salt and pepper hair, facial hair, blue puffy coat, dark pants. Entered building, told reporting party that he was trying to get warm and entered another building before leaving the area on foot.

Oct. 16

Weapons offense. 200 block Cloquallum Road, Elma. 4:04 p.m. Past 10 minutes, the neighbor that lives across the street and down Bush Creek, shot at reporting party’s dog while the reporting party’s son was out walking with the dog. Unknown reason why. Dog is bleeding but does not require vet care. Dog was hit possibly by a pellet gun.

Oct. 17

Disorderly conduct. 100 block Aldergrove Drive, Montesano. 11:03 p.m. Wife yelling, screaming, ongoing issue, usually ends with her hitting him. Currently in reporting party’s bedroom. No weapons. Reporting party woke up to her being disorderly. No assault so far. Unknown where she went. Reporting party said the wife is trying to flood the house. Requests officer return ASAP and see what she is doing.

Hara ssment. First block South Bank Road, Elma. 4:31 p.m. Female calling and harassing her over last two months.

Oct. 18

Suspicious person/circumstance. 1100 block Monte Elma Road, Elma. 1:27 p.m. 5 feet 5 inches, white female, dark brown hair, last seen wearing tan and brown striped dress, white shoes, asking the reporting party for gas money. Last seen westbound in a light blue Mazda pickup. Reporting party said she is running a scam all over town and officers are looking for her.

Trespass. First block Mox Chehalis Road, Malone. 7:50 p.m. House across the driveway has a candle burning in residence. House is supposed to be abandoned. Lights coming from a travel trailer. Reporting party doesn’t know who the property owner is or how to get ahold of them. House has been abandoned for some time. The subjects advised that they are cleaning up the property and have been given permission to stay in the trailer on the property while it is being cleaned up.

Suspicious person/circumstance. Brook Drive at Camp Creek Road, Montesano. 8:48 a.m. Tan late 1990s Honda. Subjects appear to be casing houses driving through the area. Currently parked near intersection.

Oct. 19

Traffic Hazard. 200 block Brooklyn Road, Oakville. 5:18 a.m. Large pile of garbage/furniture in the roadway, blocking both lanes. Reporting party did not see who dumped it or why. Reporting party has a dump trailer, can pick it up tonight if County unable to get it. Is passable only by driving through the garbage.

Trespass. First block Dennie Road, Oakville. 10:50 a.m. There is someone living in a tent on the property at the end of the road — unknown if the homeowner is aware — could possibly be the subject deputies were looking for earlier.
