Neighbor’s plane could be dangerous; FAA warned

Warrant service or confirmation: 400 block of Elma-McCleary Road, Elma. 11:19 p.m. Reporting party not on scene, watching his remote cameras. Subject is walking around the residence with a flashlight. Request Elma Police check residence. One in custody. Department of Corrections warrant confirmed.

Open line: First block of Camp Creek Road, Montesano. 3:45 p.m. Crying heard on phone. Unable to recall. Two more calls from number. Another call, female child said something about Kayla. Another open line, child saying there was a fire, also coughing heard in background. Two girls playing on the phone.

Aug. 23

Suspicious person; First block of Devonshire Road, Sterlings Landing, Montesano. 11:34 p.m. Subjects down on the gravel bar on west side. Six minors detained.

Report of fraud or blackmail: 300 block of East Pine Street, Elma. 6:24 a.m. Reporting party requests contact referencing paper found on ground with $100 bill printed on it.

Aug. 24

Burglary in progress: First block of Menzo Haverly Road, Elma. 11: 25 a.m. Reporting party caught man breaking into Fairgrounds storage units. Man left in a red Ford SUV.

Traffic hazard: Mox-Chehalis Road, Milepost 2, Malone. 8:10 a.m. Cow in the road.

Court order violation in progress: 800 block of Elma-McCleary Road, McCleary. 2:25 p.m. Reporting party requests contact, says husband in at the residence in violation of an order. He is reported to be driving around in the hay field. He has been calling and harassing neighbors. He can become aggressive. Reporting party will remain in residence with doors locked; will recall if anything changes. Officers en route. Request confirmation of court order. No answer at county jail. Male is now behind house in pickup. Officer arrived. Reporting party coming out to open gate. Order is confirmed. Vehicle reported driving through someone’s yard. Last seen headed toward dead end on Niels Lane.

Aug. 26

Rescue needed: First block of Capitol C 400, Oakville, 8:59 p.m. Reporting party is lost in Capitol Forest. Caller said he is tired and dehydrated. Refused aid. His motorcycle is in a ditch about a mile from where he is. Updated phone coordinates received. Washington State Patrol advised. They have a unit en route. He thinks he is OK without an ambulance. Tow truck en route, but could not find reporting party. Reporting party can hear sirens. He sees lights and hears sirens. Officer has him, will meet ambulance. Reporting party believed to be in good condition. With help of tow truck driver, he received his motorcycle.

Court order violation: 800 block of Elma-McCleary Road, McCleary. 7:58 a.m. Husband at location in violation of court order. Now leaving eastbound on Elma-McCleary Road. Officers on scene. One detained. Mirandas advised. Jail contacted.

Aug. 27

Suspicious circumstances: Norton Road and Langabeer Road, Oakville. 11:13 a.m. Reporting party says small older airplane landing and taking off from area. Flies near reporting party’s residence. Concerned it could be dangerous. Plane flown by neighbor. Will be referred to Federal Aviation Administration.

Aug. 28

Assault: 900 block of East Main Street, Elma. 4:26 a.m. Reporting party awoke to roommate being hit by man. Name unknown. Last seen on foot toward 76th. Man has returned to residence. Parties all verbal now, not responding to call taker.

Domestic violence act in progress: First block of Cummings Avenue, Malone. 9:04 p.m. Neighbors having domestic. Male threw remote at TV and broke it. Officer on scene. Not as reported. They were yelling at the dogs.

Domestic violence act: 400 Elma-Hicklin Road West, McCleary. 7;19 p.m. Reporting party’s daughter is involved in a lot of yelling and screaming. Reporting party is outside. Daughter and husband are inside. Husband locked reporting party out. Three weapons in residence, not locked up. Husband on line, says he just got home and wife has a new boyfriend, says dad was hiding boyfriend, says they’re making a big deal out of nothing. Reporting party back on line. Sounds as if situation oscillating. Reporting party kept telling someone to give him the gun. Sounded like a struggle just prior to female saying where is the phone. Attempting to recall. Nobody answering. Officers on scene. Laceration and possible broken finger reported on adult male. Aid can come onto scene. Residence secure. Subject’s vehicle gone. Suspect left in black BMW.

Noninjury vehicle accident nonblocking: First block of Porter Creek Road West, Porter Creek Boat Launch. 6:04 p.m. Reporting party’s truck rolled in the boat launch. no one inside. Completely submerged in river. 2006 silver Dodge Dakota. Vehicle is 15-20 yards into the river.
