March 28

Trespass. 300 block South Bank Road, Elma. 10:05 p.m. Male on scene shooting a gun; verbal in background. Claims male is shooting at people who have burglarized residence. Now saying he is going after him with vehicle.

Vehicle prowl in progress. First block Mox-Chehalis Road E., McCleary. 3:28 p.m. Female walking westbound, tried to get in neighbor’s vehicle. Just ran into the woods via an abandoned lot. Heard neighbors yell “get away from my car.” Female currently in a residence — walked in through an unlocked door. One detained.

March 29

Vehicle accident with injuries. First block South Union Road, Elma. 5:28 p.m. Two vehicle accident possible ankle injury. Silver Dodge Caravan and maroon Toyota Celica.

Vehicle accident. 600 block W. Young Street, Elma. 6:08 p.m. Someone ran into reporting party’s parked car. Is very upset, crying as her Chevy Aveo is totaled; other vehicle has a female driver trying to drive it, but it won’t move. Other vehicle is a Kia. One in custody for DUI.

Animal problem. First block Malone Hill Road, Malone. 5:23 p.m. Two pitbulls running loose, on his property, destroyed his trampoline, one of them grabbed his child’s pant leg (no actual bite).

March 30

Theft. 100 block Brady Loop Road, Montesano. 12:57 p.m. Theft of lawn ornament. Unknown when occurred, just noticed it missing yesterday.

Agency assist. State Route 8 westbound at Mile Post 8, McCleary. 2:58 p.m. Flames seen in a timber clearing, appeared to be moving uphill, little smoke seen. Flames 10-15 feet, moving into the woods.

Traffic hazard. 500 block N. Main Street, Montesano. 9:57 p.m. Subject is very intoxicated laying in the roadway. He is talking — last seen wearing sweatshirt, shorts and shoes.

April 1

Hit and run accident. 400 block Boundary Road, Montesano. 5:12 p.m. 2 vehicles, noninjury, other driver fled, reporting party has no suspect vehicle description, said she was too distracted to notice. Reporting party in a gray 98 Honda Accord, does not believe her vehicle is drivable.

April 3

Shop lift. 200 block E. Pioneer Avenue, Montesano. 8:29 p.m. Male shoplifter — still in the store, concealed merchandise. Claims to not have any money for the items that can be seen. One in custody.

April 12

Report of prowler. 600 block W. Martin St., Elma. 9:14 p.m. Male hiding in bush, peeking into reporting party’s yard. White male, 40 years old, tall, skinny, carrying sleeping bag. Last seen westbound on foot.

Vehicle theft. 900 block Middle Satsop Road, Montesano. 1:56 a.m. Theft of a white 1988 Ford F-150 with extended cab and canopy. Unknown how long ago it was stolen, didn’t know it was missing until she put it on Offer Up. Was previously parked in brush on property.

April 13

Trespass. 1100 block U.S. Highway 12, Montesano. 6:50 p.m. Male sleeping on reporting party’s back porch — seems intoxicated. Arrived in a green Chevy pickup. State Patrol has male is custody for DUI.

Domestic violence act. First block Murray Place, Elma. Wife tried to stab reporting party, however unsure if it was with a pen or a knife, unknown where it is now. Reporting party and wife are in separate rooms now. In process of divorcing. One in custody.

April 15

Animal problem. First block Ames Lane, Oakville, 1:07 p.m. Ongoing problem with neighbors sheep getting loose and coming into reporting party’s pasture, bothering her animals. Has talked to sheep owner and is not fixing the problem.

April 17

Agency assist. U.S. Highway 12 eastbound at Mile Post 13, Montesano. 2:19 p.m. Silver Kia Soul, stopped for trespass, vehicle off the road into the trees. Blocking both westbound lanes. Significant facial bleeding.

Vehicle accident. Schouweiler Road and westbound U.S. Highway 12, Satsop. 4:56 p.m. 2 vehicle rear-end collision — black Toyota Camry vs. black 2007 Saturn, 1 female with wrist injury. One vehicle has smoke coming from it.
