July 25

Animal problem: 300 block of Monte-Brady Road, Montesano. 8:55 a.m. Neighbor’s cows are in the road and in corn fields. Cow returned and secured.

Agency assist: First block of Hicklin Road, Elma. 1:58 p.m. Brush fire reported on side of road and nearing shop. Fire is about 1,200 square feet. Fire spreading. Officer requests telling the railroad as they will need to hold traffic for now. Shutting down Hicklin road. Fire is contained; still extinguishing. Officer requests telling Department of Natural Resources.

July 26

Unknown problem: First block of Country Farm Road, Montesano. 1:23 a.m. Reporting party says subjects on porch are trying to get in. Reporting party wants deputies to check vehicles as well. Male and female heard talking, nothing seen. Reporting party says she doesn’t know them. Nobody found in area.

Domestic violence: 500 block of Summit Road, McCleary. 11:53 p.m. She choked him so he hit her on the head and pushed her down. Parties separated into different rooms. Reporting party served her with eviction paperwork today which upset her. She was threatening to stab reporting party with a spear. Reporting party used a jar of change to hit her. Reporting party declines aid. Children in the house. She has injuries to the head and legs. One detained. Woman called concerned that her child with Eric is being left at location with female.

July 27

Fire arm complaint: First block of Airport Lane, Elma. 1:42 p.m. Reporting party heard 10-20 shots, believed to be from a rifle. Possibly coming from south of reporting party’s location. Reporting party heard a bullet wiz by while they were in a hanger. Can still hear shots while on the phone with reporting party.

Fraud/blackmail: 1400 block of Pioneer Avenue, Montesano. 11:03 a.m. Reporting party received fraud alert on his credit report. Has a phone bill that is not his in collection for $1,142. Requests contact.

Vehicle theft: 100 block of Broadway Avenue, Montesano. 4:25 p.m. Reporting part says he sold motorcycle but it still is in his name. New owner said it was stolen on Copalis Beach Road. It is a 2004 250 Ninja.

Court order violation: First block of Ames Lane, Oakville. 10:32 a.m. Reporting party says her sister is violating a court order by being at their mother’s house. Mother reports sister took phone and was searching for money. Respondent on the order has been removed from the residence and served with protection/anti-harassment order and provided with the conditions of the order.

Theft: First block of Garrard Creek Road, Oakville. 12:48 p.m. Reporting party says wallet, gun and computer stolen. Officer safety alert: Reporting party has made comments to protect property from law enforcement with a .45 caliber pistol. Reporting party told officer that an individual took a few items.

July 28

Disorderly conduct: Porter Creek Campground, Oakville. 1:08 a.m. Intoxicated disorderly female punching vehicles and screaming. People she’s with trying to calm her. Reporting party saw her pushing others at campsite. Last seen wearing tank top and possibly white pants. No Department of Natural Resources units available. Problem female appears to have passed out prior to officer’s arrival.

Assault: 1200 block of State Route 12, Montesano. 4:38 a.m. Man came in and knocked reporting party’s roommate down and threatened them both. Aid declined. Unknown where subject is. He lives nearby. Reporting party said subject accused reporting party’s roommate of shooting subject’s cars. Tall white male with mustache last seen wearing white T-shirt and jeans. No weapons seen. Reporting party said subject threatened to kill everybody in house. Victim doesn’t want to pursue charges. Officer contacted other half, all friends, disagreement of animals.

July 30

Burglary: 400 block of State Route 107, Montesano. 10:13 a.m. House broken into. Unknown when as reporting party hasn’t been to location in past month. Items are missing. No one inside. Owner contacted.

July 31

Animal problem: 200 block of Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 7:16 a.m. Twenty cows running loose down the valley, not yet in roadway. Unknown who they belong to. Nearby property owner contacted. Cows returned to owner. Four minutes later: Reporting party says additional 25 cows are behind reporting party’s residence in the river. Neighbor pushing them up stream. Another call: Reporting party says cows in their backyard. No one seen pushing them. Cows are grazing. Previous caller says cows are in the woods behind the house. Cows now southbound, some running back toward the road. Owner contacted. Cows back on leased property. Owner will repair fence. About half of 70-head heard escaped. Laws explained to owner.

Aug. 1

Theft: First block of Paradise Avenue, Malone. 2:29 p.m. Reporting party believes cousin has taken his vehicle. He was in jail, and she told him that it had been repossessed. He checked with bank and it was not. She is en route to his house.

Aug. 3

Rescue: 700 block of Monte-Elma Road, Montesano. 6:47 p.m. Received report that 19-year-old man was struggling in the water. Another party reports male is unconscious in the water. Subjects are trying to pull him out. Aid requested. Officer reports man is breathing and conscious, possibly has hypothermia. Transporting priority.

Agency Assist: Elma-Hicklin Road Est and State Route 108, McCleary. 5:07 a.m. Power box on the side of the road is on fire. Sparks and flames coming from it. Fire is put out.

Aug. 4

Domestic violence: 400 block of Monte-Brady Road, Montesano. 8:12 p.m. Reporting party says wife assaulted him, ripped his shirt off. Broke his phone when he tried to call 911. Threw other things at him. Aid refused. Wife is at house. No children in house. Reporting party says his vehicle is blocking her vehicle from leaving. Female in custody.

Civil matter: First block of County Farm Road, Montesano. 6:37 p.m. Homeowners trying to evict grandson, concerned how he will react because he has been abusive in the past. Hispanic male last seen wearing blue jacket, shorts, tennis shoes, unknown weapons. Subject left on bicycle, northbound on Devonshire. Mother is hiding in hotel because he was physical with her. Unknown female, who had been living at location without permission, left on foot. White female, tall, dark brown hair, last seen wearing black swim bottoms, has two inner tubes. Reporting party says both subjects are trespassing. Subjects gone from location.

Shoplifting: 600 block of East Main Street, Elma. 12:31 a.m. Shoplifter being uncooperative. Large commotion heard over phone as she is trying to push her way out of store. Manager trying to detain her. Subject still inside. Manager locked her inside. Subject detained. Manager declining to press charges. Subject trespassed.

911 open line: First block of Craftdale Road, Oakville. 4:27 a.m. Teenage kids are outside harassing reporting party’s 50-year-old son who is trying to deliver the newspaper. Kids are making fun of him due to his heavy weight. Juveniles told her son that if reporting party called 911, they would shoot him. Son just told reporting party that juveniles shot him in the head with a pellet gun. Unknown if he is injured. Reporting party wants to disconnect to call local sheriff’s deputy. Reporting party recalling, says juveniles have told her they killed her son. Man from down the road came over with a gun. Juveniles were beating her son with a leather horse whip.

Malicious mischief: First block of Boyer Road, Oakville. 11:45 a.m. Subject breaking all windows out of reporting party’s vehicle. Male subject said he didn’t feel well, needed help. Reporting party brought him food. Subject started breaking out windows with a shovel. Subject westbound on Porter Creek Road toward State Route 12. Subject said he was hearing voices.

Firearm complaint: 200 block of Keys Road (boat launch), Satsop. 7:47 p.m. Male subject shooting pistol into river. There is a 3-year-old with no ear protection. Subject not threatening child or reporting party.

Aug. 5

Reckless act or driving: State Route 12, eastbound at Milepost 9, Montesano. 6:19 p.m. Driver refusing to get out of the vehicle. Caller reports Washington State Patrol officer in fight with subject he dragged from vehicle. Multiple units on scene. One in custody after use of force.

Disorderly conduct: 700 block of East Main Street, Elma. 1:27 p.m. Man yelling at customers saying the food is illegal. Man now is inside his vehicle staring at employees, unknown if weapons involved. Reporting party believes he’s mentally unstable.

Vehicle theft: 400 block South Main Street, Montesano. 2:40 p.m. Possible car jacking. Somebody tried to jump into a vehicle and leave with it. Subject trying to take the car ran toward 76 station. Three people have him detained now. Reporting party is a witness. Occurred on street in front of store. Vehicle is attached to motorhome. Fight reported. Two people physical; four people trying to break it up. One detained. Request aid for hand laceration.
