Arrested suspect booked into Grays Harbor County Jail

Burglary foiled

At about 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 14, deputies were dispatched to the 5300 block of Wishkah Road for an interrupted burglary.

A resident came home and saw a white male leaving his house. The suspect got into the front passenger seat of a car and fled southbound on Wishkah Road. Another male was driving.

The suspect vehicle abruptly stopped when a tire blew out. The suspect fled into the woods. The vehicle then continued southbound.

Deputies, the Department of Fish and Wildlife and a K9 unit responded.

The arrested suspect was a 35-year-old transient from Aberdeen. The driver was identified as a 40-year-old Elma man.

Both suspects are convicted felons.

The arrested suspect was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail for first-degree burglary. The same charges are being sought for the second suspect as well.
