Dear Editor;

I, along with many others in our fair city, do not want a roundabout at the exit of the freeway. We also do not want a “rest area” here either. Neither improve the looks of Montesano, nor is there any proof that they will bring anything but a traffic jam downtown. We appreciate our past mayors standing up for us and thank them for being our voice. Because of their work, we hear the roundabout is close to being off the table, Why doesn’t the city focus on improving the roads in town? There is no shortage of need all over the city.
