LETTER: Thank you to logging show supporters

Saginaw Loggers’ Day organizers offer thanks for successful event

Dear Editor:

I wish to once again thank all those who helped make the 2016 Saginaw Loggers Day Show a continued success.

Thank you Jerry Bailey and Port Blakely Tree Farm for your continued support and donations; Eric Snell with Snell Crane for the help and always being there for us; Jim Welch for the use of machinery, time and help. Thank you Dave Zepp, Terry Edwards, and John Adolphson for helping to set up the show, and to all the volunteers who helped during the show. Thank you Jeff Fetter and Dave Beckavar for the hot saws demonstration, always a crowd favorite, and to my Drag Saw Man, Chris, for a very special demonstration. Thank you Harbor Saw for the donation of the power saws. Thank you Jerry Carlson Construction for your assistance in hauling equipment.

To Bob Sholes and the North River Grange, I thank you for your contribution each year with your breakfast, spaghetti feed and awsome pies. A huge thank you goes to the Brooklyn Tavern manager, Dee, for the hard work in making the show happen. And, finally, I wish to thank the wonderful audience and participants who keep the show returning year after year. Without all the support, this show would not be possible.

Thanks again, and see everybody next year.

Respectfully,

Doug Zepp
