Elma, McCleary and Montesano mayors plan to attend, speak at Greater Grays Harbor Inc. luncheon

Lunch with the Mayors event is Jan. 22 at Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen.

Looking to forecast new and old plans for 2019, nine mayors from across Grays Harbor County will convene at their annual forum, titled “Lunch with the Mayors.”

Hosted by Greater Grays Harbor Inc., the event is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 22, a Tuesday, at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen.

Attendees will hear directly from the elected officials, who will provide updates from their community and discuss upcoming priorities for 2019. Dru Garson, Greater Grays Harbor CEO, said there will likely be 5 to 10 minutes for each mayor to speak, and following that would be a Q&A session.

Officials include: Aberdeen Mayor Erik Larson, Carl Sperring standing in for Cosmopolis Mayor Frank Chestnut, Elma Mayor Jim Sorenson, Hoquiam Mayor Jasmine Dickhoff, McCleary Mayor Brenda Orffer, Montesano Mayor Vini Samuel, Oakville Mayor Keith Francis, Ocean Shores Mayor Crystal Dingler and Westport Mayor Rob Bearden.

Tickets are $20 for Greater Grays Harbor members, and $25 for nonmembers. Lunch is provided by Aloha Alabama, and is included with admission. Reservations are required by Jan. 16.
