The Grays Harbor County Commission new meeting schedule kicks in next week. The commissioners will meet on the first at third Tuesdays of each month at 2 p.m. for its regular board meeting and 9 a.m. for staff meetings.

The Commission also will hold workshop meetings to discuss county business and planning at 10:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays.

The change is temporary. The new schedule runs through December. But if it saves the county money and time, something similar likely will become permanent.
