Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Montesano Food Bank, I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the most recent Food Bowl.

It is absolutely amazing what our community can produce in two short weeks.

This year the students delivered approximately 14,000 pounds of food and $35,000. Think about it, that’s 1,000 pounds of food and $2,500 each day.

Can’t say enough about the great group of kids and compassionate community that we live in. Thank you.
