McCleary restaurant observing 10th anniversary

Rain Country Restaurant in McCleary will celebrate its 10th anniversary by giving back to the community offering a food drive for families that struggle with being able to put food on the table

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday May 5, and will include “Hawked out” vehicles from the Seattle area, a visit from Spider Man and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Mike Tyson.

Tyson will be offering one autograph per person and photo opportunities between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. but those wishing to participate need to bring at least two items for the food drive.

The event is free to the public . The restaurant is located at 124 W. Simpson.
