The 18U Gold fastpitch tryouts, run by Grays Harbor College head fastpitch softball coach Mike Cummings, will be held at 2 p.m. on August 5 and 12 at John Gable Park in Hoquiam.

This will be an elite travel team dedicated to improving the skills of 16-to-18-year-olds looking to play fastpitch in college. The team will travel to Las Vegas as well as Southern California for fall and winter ball tournaments. The team will also compete in one additional fall ball tournament in Washington or Oregon. The spring schedule is to be determined but the plan is to play in six tournaments through summer of 2018 throughout the Pacific Northwest.
