Led by Macey Wecker’s 45, Montesano overwhelmed Elma in a Southwest Washington 1A League match April 20 at Oaksridge Golf Club The final score was Bulldogs 206, Eagles 340.

McKenna Miller added a 52 for the Bulldogs.

Alexis Cooper topped Elma with 71.

“Elma has a young team and we caught them on a bit of an off-day, as they were playing their third match in as many days and were a little worn out,” Montesano coach Lloyd Aldrich said. “Our team score has been consistently in the low 200s, which is great. But with districts just over two weeks away, I wouldn’t mind seeing that score start to go down just a bit.”
