Bobcats edge Bulldogs 1,495-1,466 in girls bowling match at Elma Lanes

Aberdeen erased a huge deficit after the first game to rally to a 1,495-1,466 victory over Montesano on Monday at Elma Lanes.

Montesano (1-11 overall, 1-7 Evergreen 2A) took a 614-522 lead after Annalynn Farley and Kaylee Lundgren bowled a 149 and 147, respectively, in Game 1.

Aberdeen (6-6, 3-5), which didn’t have a bowler hit 120 in the first game, seized momentum in Game 2. Four of five Bobcats bowlers hits at least 130, with Juli Villa leading the way with a match-best game of 156, as Aberdeen took a 1,208-1,184 lead heading into the Baker games.

In the see-saw match, Aberdeen edged Monte in both Baker games 139-136 and 148-146, respectively, to win the match.

Lundgren has the high-series of the match with a 274.
