FORKS — Elma rallied in the fifth set to pull out a 19-25, 25-20, 27-25, 24-26, 15-10, in an Evergreen 1A League match on Oct. 10 at Forks.

Jalyn Sackrider had a strong game for the Eagles with 11 kills and three blocks. Kenna Stoney had 10 kills and 17 digs in a key all-around performance.

Quin Mikel had 14 kills along with 14 digs and Kali Rambo contributed 3 aces and nine digs to help lift her team.

Elma head coach Kendra Henry said she liked the way her team came together after a slow start.

“I’m proud of how well the girls came back and brought up their energy throughout the night and played well together,” she said.
