Victoria Mamigo Francis of Montesano passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

Victoria Mamigo Francis of Montesano passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 94.

Victoria was born Feb. 25, 1925 and raised in Cauayan, Negros Occidental, Philippines to Esteban and Bernarda (Mamigo) Bollon.

She moved to Washington in 1984 but had also lived in Chicago and Alabama. Vicky earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing while living in the Philippines. She worked in various locations as a registered nurse and had owned and operated a private care home from 1986-1999.

She loved being a nurse, singing in the church choir and attending St. John’s Catholic Church.

Victoria is survived by her loving family, son Ferdinand “Dan” Abinales and wife Rebecca Campbell of Modesto, California; two sisters, Fermina Seamen of Cosmopolis and Leonor and her husband Dems Alburo of Montesano; five grandchildren, Mercedes Knight, Michaela, Angelina, Piper and Georgie Abinales and great-granddaughter, Emmy Knight.

Vicky was preceded in death by four brothers, Andres, Baldemero, Delfin “Pepe” and Sergio Bollon and two sisters, Fedila Albanillia and Paz Bollon all of the Philippines.

A Rosary is planned for 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Montesano followed by a celebration and Mass service at 11 a.m. with a potluck to follow in the social hall at 12 p.m..
