Avery Joseph “Steezy” Shriver, 15, tragically passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, in Warrenton, Ore., following an accident.

Avery Joseph “Steezy” Shriver, 15, tragically passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, in Warrenton, Ore., following an accident. He was born Oct. 30, 2001, in Centralia, Wash., to Ethan Shriver and Melissa Kinney. Avery was raised in Elma, Wash., and attended Elma High School.

He loved the outdoors – the lakes, rivers, the ocean, fishing, camping, animals, fast cars, football, basketball and the Huskies. He enjoyed eating sushi, Mexican and seafoods. His favorite thing to do was bike riding and making new friends. He was very quick witted and had a mischievous sense of humor and loved to pull pranks on family and friends.

Avery will be forever remembered as a wonderful and loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.

In addition to his parents, Avery is survived by his older brother Raleigh; younger sisters, Lucy and Gracie, all of Elma; grandparents, Mark and Tina Kinney of Yelm; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at Elma High School gymnasium Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 1 p.m. A potluck will follow; please bring your favorite dish. The public is invited to attend.
