Wynooche Masonic Lodge # 43 hosted its 52nd annual School Awards on April 24, at the Masonic Temple in Montesano.

The recipients of $1,000 scholarships were Jordan Spradlin of Montesano, Kylie Boling of Mary M. Knight, and Grace Aiken of Elma.

The Lodge had Dru Garson of Greater Grays Harbor Inc. as a guest speaker.

Buckley Strong, School Awards Chairman, was emcee.

Area schools nominate outstanding students during their junior year of school. When they are seniors, one from each school is selected for the scholarship award.

The outstanding juniors recognized this year are:

Elma — Aaron Bultman, David Dowing, Gunnar Jones, Hannah Hartley, Mikhaela Nelson, Clara Raab, Jacob Rathbun, Maleaha Smith, Abigail Spoonhoward and Michael Velasco.

Montesano — Rachel Ayers, Lauren Denholm, Seth Dierkop, Morgan Kesker, Carson Klinger, Nathan Kloempken, Connor Parkinson, Devan Parkinson, Peyton Poler and Samantha Stanfield.

Mary M. Knight — Cody Boothe and Cole Ruthruff.
