Scholarship money available

Washington State University Master Gardeners want to help students get an education.

The WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties announce the availability of a $1,000 scholarship for seniors in Grays Harbor and Pacific county high schools, including alternative and homeschooled students.

The scholarship honors Don Tapio, long-time WSU Extension Educator in Grays Harbor County. It is available to seniors who intend to pursue an academic major in horticulture, life sciences or a related field.

Applications will be available online at the Master Gardener website (www.pnwmg.org) or available by contacting bradbury1285@comcast.net or at 360-495-4086.

Applications may be dropped off at the WSU Extension office at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma or mailed to WSU Extension, P.O. Box 3018, Elma, WA 98541-3018 between Feb. 1 and May 1, 2019.
