The Montesano Council’s series of preliminary 2020 budget hearings to receive comments, suggestions and recommendations from the public will conclude Dec. 10.
“The primary purpose of the hearing is to consider the 2020 Preliminary Budget revenues, expenditure as well as the information provided as to the figures upon which the annual ad valorem to be imposed upon real property within the City,” a release from Montesano CFO and Clerk Arnel Blancas states.
Two public meetings already have been held, Nov. 12 and Nov. 28. The final meeting is at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 in the council chambers at City Hall.
