The Grays Harbor County Democrats will hold their Legacy Dinner and Auction event Oct. 5 at Grays Harbor College Hub (1620 Edward P. Smith Dr. in Aberdeen).

Keynote speakers will be April Sims, secretary treasurer of the Washington State Labor Council, and Hilary Franz, the state lands commissioner.

The social hour and silent auction begins at 5 p.m. Dinner begins at 6. An “instant wine cellar” auction will occur; that’s when guests bring a bottle of wine to donate and the highest bidder at the end of the night gets all the bottles.

Westport’s Aloha Alabama barbecue will cater the event.
