GH Fire District 2 Brady station robbed of life-saving equipment

Reward offered

A $1,500 reward is being offered for information that recovers equipment stolen from Grays Harbor County Fire District 2’s Brady station.

On May 22, Fire District 2 personnel arrived at the station (located at 8 Fire Station Road) and found it had been burglarized.

Essential public safety equipment was stolen, including portable radios, an automatic external defibrillator (AED), a thermal imaging camera, multiple rescue saws, batteries, battery chargers for medical equipment and tools.

The Fire District and local residents have pooled together $1,500 as a reward for the recovery of the equipment and the conviction of the individuals responsible for the burglary.

Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office and the Fire District are working together to investigate the incident.

It’s believed the suspect or suspects forced entry through an outside entry door. The equipment was stolen from inside an apparatus at the station.
