Animal Problem. 100 block N. 3rd St. 1:42 p.m. Reporting parting referencing a brown and white pitbull named “Meathead” that may be in the kennel. Reporting party was at friend’s residence with dog when friend was taken to hospital.
May 27
Wildlife animal problem. State Route 8 eastbound. 12:24 a.m. Reporting party saw black bear on the north side of the highway heading toward Burger King.
Suspicious circumstances. 100 block S. 3rd St. 1:06 p.m. Red two door pickup sitting in plot watching people use atm.
Malicious Mischief. 3000 block Simpson Ave. 4:41 p.m. Attempted break into warehouse. Occurred overnight, door busted, nothing taken.
May 29
Suspicious vehicle. 300 block E. Young St. 4:28 a.m. Reporting party was smoking, said there was someone in the plot and someone walking down the road followed by a red Honda Prelude. Reporting party’s car alarm recently went off and saw the same vehicle again. Believes they are prowling vehicles in the area.
May 30
Hazardous material. 700 block E. Main St. 7:43 a.m. Strong propane smell at location, unable to get a hold of the propane company. Reporting party was able to get a hold of propane company and they will respond. Business being evacuated, all natural gas lines shut down.
Suspicious person. 600 block W. Main St. 11:08 a.m. Male in blue pickup appears to be disrobing. Wearing gray cap, yelling at nothing specific, slamming doors. Is now taking things out of the car, walking toward the school and out into the roadway.
Theft. 600 block Oakhurst Drive. 7 p.m. Theft of tools occurring sometime in the past few days.
