County wants a low-barrier, cold weather, temporary shelter

Proposals are due Nov. 4.

Grays Harbor County governmewnt wants a program that will offer a temporary, low-barrier shelter for when it gets cold this winter with the option of making the program permanent and has put out a request for proposals to run it.

Grays Harbor hopes proposals for such a program will help it meet goals set forth in the 2019-2024 Plan to Address Unmet Housing Needs

“Eligibility and evaluation criteria and required proposal components are available at www.healthygh.org/directory/housing,” reads a release from the Grays harbor County Public health and Social Services Department.

Questions must be submitted in writing and will be posted, along with the answers, on the county’s website at healthygh.org/directory/housing.

Contracts awarded as a result of this bidding process will run from Jan. 1 through June 30.
