Nov. 17

Littering/pollution problem. City well at Katon Road. 9:36 a.m. An employee from the City of Montesano advises he found bags of garbage at the city well. The employee found a dealer temporary vehicle permit and paperwork belonging to a male subject. A check on the temporary permit came back to a male subject with the same last name. Officer spoke with subject who advised they have been on vacation and did not know how his garbage would have ended up out there.

Agency assist. 3:13 p.m. Officer saw male subject in town who had probable cause for possession of stolen property for Elma. Subject hid and officer was unable to relocate him.

Nov. 21

Theft, property, other. City Forest D100 Line. 5:12 p.m. City forester reports theft of cedar boughs from city forest.

Theft from vehicle. 400 block E. Marcy Ave. 11:18 p.m. Reporting party came out side and saw subject going through his neighbor’s truck. Reporting party retrieved his rifle and yelled at the subject to stop and sit down, that he was on the phone with the police. The subject ran, going north on Chehalis Street. Subject turned into the apartments at Chehalis and Broadway. Reporting party went home and made contact with police upon their arrival. Reporting party identified possible suspect, but police determined possible suspect was not involved.

Nov. 22

Noise ordinance violation. 300 block W. Marcy Ave. 12:10 a.m. Reporting party requesting quiet of loud talking. Officer made contact and advised occupants in apartment to be quiet.

Nov. 28

Driving complaint. 1200 block E. Beacon Ave. 8:37 p.m. Reporting party says passenger car racing up and down road at approximately 50 mph. Has been by at least four times in the past 15 minutes. Last seen toward Beacon School.
