At the libraries
• McCleary Timberland Library will host play groups for children birth to age 6 with an adult. Arrival and departure times are flexible. Wednesdays, 10:30- 11:30 a.m. March 28, and April 11 and 25.
• Elma Timberland Library presents family storytime Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 a.m., through April 25. All ages. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Bilingual storytime will run Thursdays, 4-4:30 p.m. through April 26.
• Oakville Timberland Library will host “storytime anytime” through March 29. Drop into the library and ask a staff member to read a story.

• Elma VFW Auxiliary 20th annual East Egg Hunt at noon at Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma. Line up starts at 11:30 a.m. For children 10 years or younger. Bring a donation for the local food bank.
• The 2018 awards and farm dinner banquet for the Montesano Chamber of Commerce will be at beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m. at Montesano City Hall. Tickets are $20 and are available at Anchor Bank, Timberland Bank and Bulldog Lanes.
• Olyimprov will be the featured performers for a McCleary Historical Society benefit at 5 p.m. at the McCleary Community Center. Suggested donations, $5.
