The 2,300-year old skull found in a crab pot off Ocean Shores in 2014 is one step closer to its final resting place. Canyon Creek shelter, the only remaining Civilian Conservation Corps-constructed shelter in the Olympic backcountry, was among the structures threatened by a lawsuit filed by Wilderness Watch calling for the destruction of several structures in the Olympic Wilderness.
