Crews were already getting ready for a major construction project on the Wildcat Creek watershed near McCleary Friday. The two-year project will eventually shut down the intersection of State Route 8 and State Route 108 and drop the main highway in and out of the Harbor to one lane in both directions. The Dept. of Transportation project is part of a statewide effort to improve fish passage and habitat and involves bridge and culvert replacement.
