University of Washington

The university says the following students from Montesano were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2019 quarter. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4).

Jared Tayler Arndt, Xinrui Bao, Daniel Ashley E Ensley, Taylor John Moreno, Blake Donald Rose, Courtney Swan and Gharett William Van Noy.

Scholarships

Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) has awarded scholarships to two local students. Kaitlyn Granstrom received a $2,500 scholarship for Northwest Christian University in Eugene, Oregon. Mattilyn Ekerson, who will attend Grays Harbor College, received a $1,500 scholarship.
