• The Elma School District will sponsor Summer Food Program for Children. Meals will be available at no cost to children 18 years and younger. Meals will be served at Elma Middle School, Monday-Friday, June 19-30. Lunch noon-12:30 p.m. No service the week of July 3-7. Will resume Summer Lunch Monday-Friday, July 10-Aug. 11.

• Annual Bill Brookshire Memorial Bike Rodeo hosted by the Montesano Police Department 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Montesano High School back parking lot. Bike checks by Montesano Fire Department, helmets for those who need them and food by Kiwanis Club.
• Join the RARE Riding Club of Pacific County on Saturday, June 17, for a Poker Run benefitting the Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals (HAVA). The run will start in Chinook at the Columbia River Roadhouse, 782 Hwy 101. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with kickstands up at 11 a.m. Poker hands are $10 each. All vehicles are welcome. • Elma Timberland Library presents Bike Rodeo from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for children. Bring your bicycle to the library to learn about bicycle safety and maintenance, and do some fun bicycle activities.

• McCleary Timberland Library presents WonderWorks Builder Boxes, 2-4 p.m. for children. Explore activities that build math, science and creative thinking skills.
• Montesano TImberland Library presents Pixel Art for teens. Come to the library any time during open hours and use Perler Beads to create pixel art.

• Elma Timberland Library presents Hour of Code, 2-3:30 p.m. for grades 1-12. Learn to code in this one hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code. Bring your own device or use one of the library’s laptops.
• McCleary Timberland Library presents Creature Teachers: Reptile Show, 2-3 p.m. for all ages. Creature Teacher brings an assortment of exotic animals to educate people on the wonders of nature and spark a passion for wildlife.
• Montesano Timberland Library presents Pixel Art, for teens. Come any time during open hours and use Perler Beads to create pixel art.

• Elma citywide garage sale days. Also on June 24. Pick up maps at Elma Visitors Station (at Main and Third streets), Elma City Hall and businesses throughout the city. Maps ready on June 22 in the afternoon.
