Fishermen hook Eagle boys

Leading 13-6 five minutes into the game, Elma had control to start before the wheels fell off in a non-league loss to host Ilwaco on Wednesday, Dec. 28. The Eagles lost 78-42.

The Fishermen finished with a 19-13 lead after one quarter, a 42-21 halftime margin and more in the second half against the Eagles (2-7).

Trace Thompson led all scorers with 22 for Elma.

On Jan. 3, Elma hosted Forks to start Evergreen 1A play. Results were not available when The Vidette went to press.
