These students of the month were honored during the December Montesano Chamber of Commerce meeting.

Carlee Cavanaugh

Grade: Senior

Parents: Tonya and Roger Ashlock of Montesano

Hobbies, school activities/clubs: Pep Club president, senior class treasurer, Honor Society

Athletic activities: Girls softball manager

Future plans: Carlee Cavanaugh plans to attend Grays Harbor College in fall 2017 to pursue a teaching degree. She then plans to become an elementary school teacher.

Tyler Reninger

Grade: Senior

Parents: Krissy Reninger of Montesano, and Nathan Reninger of Olympia

Hobbies, school activities/clubs: Knowledge Bowl, Lacrosse club

Athletic activities: Football, baseball

Future plans: Tyler Reninger plans to attend Grays Harbor College for two years and transfer to Central Washington University. After college, he hopes to become a Game and Fish warden.
