Montesano High School spring sports awards

Softball player Samantha Stanfield and baseball athlete Trevor Ridgway were awarded top honors as Montesano High School announced its spring sports athletic honors in early June.

Stanfield and Ridgway were each awarded with the Don Parks Outstanding Athlete Award, the school’s top athletic honor.

Stanfield was named the 1A Evergreen League’s Defensive MVP for her stellar efforts in the circle and also made the All-Academic squad.

Ridgway was named to the All-Academic team and was a key player in the Bulldogs run to the second round of the state playoffs.
