Grays Harbor players dominate all-league baseball teams

Montesano’s Matt Plato named MVP

Montesano junior Matt Plato was named Most Valuable Player when the Evergreen 1A All-League selections were announced earlier this month.

Grays Harbor was represented by seven other players on the first team with Montesano junior Nate Kloempken and Elma senior Alex Youckton sharing honors as the first team selections at pitcher.

Hoquiam senior Zach Spradlin and Montesano sophomore Evan Bates were selected as first team infielders, while Montesano sophomore Teegan Zillyett and Hoquiam junior Sean McAllister were selected as first team outfielders. Montesano senior Sawyer Rhoden was honored as the first team selection at catcher.
