Bulldogs win at Kalama
Montesano runners won two events at the Kalama Twilight Invitational on Friday.
Bulldog senior Donovan Albert won the boys 400 meters with a personal-best time of 51.05.
His junior teammate Bryce Whipple took the boys 200 meters, also with a PR of 23.25.
“We had a lot of PRs,” Monte girls coach Doug Schupbach said. “It was great competition and a meet where we didn’t get wet.”
He also cited Josef Aschenbrenner, Madolyn Olson, Brooke Streeter and Carly Spradlin for fine performances.
Kalama’s boys and Seton Catholic’s girls took team honors. Montesano’s boys placed fourth.
