Hit and run accident — noninjury. 4000 block U.S. Highway 12, Elma. 5:27 p.m. Vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle, and that driver fled the scene in vehicle.

Fight — not DVA. West Martin Street and North 18th Street, Elma. 10:12 p.m. Six people outside fighting — some on the ground being assaulted. Second caller reporting 7-8 subjects, males and females, is physical.

March 16

Agency assist. 1100 block U.S. Highway 12, Montesano. 7:32 p.m. Trailer on fire, in kitchen — cabinets are on fire, accidentally left a pan on the stove. Occupants are attempting to evacuate. No longer any flames, heavy smoke. Stove turned off now. Grease fire out upon arrival.

Vehicle accident. Westbound U.S. Highway 12 and Devonshire Road, Montesano. 10:15 p.m. One vehicle accident, gray Toyota 4-Runner, spun out vehicle, hit the guardrail, facing the wrong way against the guardrail, child also in vehicle. Driver is refusing aid.

Unknown problem. 200 block N. F St., Elma. 1:39 a.m. Can hear someone knocking and pounding on the door yelling let me in, has been ongoing past hour. Earlier in the night, male and female were arguing and throwing stuff around. Person running east through back by railroad tracks. One detained and in custody on warrant.

Agency assist. First block Thompson Lane, Elma. 1:15 p.m. Grass and brush on fire — not threatening at this time, but is moving — about 100 yards from closest structure, 0.25 acre involved. Several acres of trees nearby. Neighbors are walking toward the fire — reporting party unable to tell them to keep a safe distance. Fire is under control.

March 17

Traffic hazard. Eastbound U.S. Highway 12 and Devonshire Road, Montesano. 6:16 p.m. Male subject riding a bicycle in the fast lane of the highway — male has a backpack, no other clothing description.

Domestic violence act in progress. First block Schouweiler Road, Satsop. 11:52 p.m. Husband is intoxicated, is trying to take the car, smashed the windshield with a bottle. Subject is verbal in the background. Male is currently outside trying to break into the car with a heater that plugs into the wall. Currently punching the car. One detained and in custody.March 18

Arson. 5800 block U.S. Highway 12, Oakville. 6:09 p.m. Travel-trailer in field on fire, approximately 30 feet by 20 feet, trees and bushes nearby. Fire has reached trees, no other structures nearby. Everyone safely away from fire. Second area on fire – 50 feet by 50 feet and into the trees. Fire under control.

March 19

Malicious mischief. First block Devonshire Road, Montesano. 11:03 p.m. Reporting party’s tires were slashed on her 1990 Acura — has suspect’s info — no longer on scene.

Reckless act or driving. State Route 8 westbound, Mile Post 4, Elma. 10:45 a.m. Dark navy blue Honda Accord, five occupants, lane travel, high speeds. Vehicle has new LED lights, speeds exceeding 100 mph. State Patrol has vehicle stopped.
