Sept. 12

Theft: First block of Tidwell Road, Elma, 7:51 p.m. Reporting party sent money to Texas to buy vehicle then vehicle was sold to somebody else.

Sept. 13

Hit and run: State Route 12 and Clemons Road, Montesano. 10:03 p.m. White sedan hit reporting party’s car. Reporting party is following sedan, refusing to stop. Officer out with victim. No damage to victim’s car.

Sept. 15

Civil matter: First block of Ames Lane, Oakville. 9:14 p.m. Reporting party returned home, living room window was open, backpack was missing from residence.

Sept. 16

Domestic violence act in progress: Monte-Brady Road, Montesano. 5:01 a.m. Reporting party was struck on head. One taken into custody.

Animal problem: First block of Strawberry Hill Road, 6:08 p.m. Reporting party has a peacock in his yard, doesn’t know where it came from.

Court order violation: Cummings Avenue, Malone. 9:09 a.m. Neighbor reportedly threatening to burn down reporting party’s house.

Burglary: First block of Elma-Hicklin Road, McCleary. 12:48 p.m. Reporting party says house was broken into through back window. Items missing include a gun case.

Burglary: First block of Mox-Chehalis Road, McCleary. 3:38 p.m. Home broken into through window.

Trespass: 5800 block of U.S. Highway 12, Oakville. 1 p.m. Man fishing on property.

Vehicle prowl: Wynooche-Wishkah Road and Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 1:57 p.m. Reporting party says vehicle windows broken, vehicle searched.

Sept. 17

Liquor violation: First block of Devonshire Road, Montesano, 7:42 p.m. Juvenile party reported down by river. Friend posted party on Snapchat. Believes 14-year-old headed to party. Officer spoke with several 17- and 18-year-olds. No signs of intoxication or alcohol present. Subjects leaving as they could not start a fire.

Theft: 400 block of Williams Creek Road, Oakville. 9:51 a.m. PUD gave reporting party a pole prior day. Reporting party awoke to find pole missing. Followed tracks to nearby house. Neighbor says it was a mistake.

Sept. 18

Traffic hazard: South Bank Road and Delezenne Road, Elma, 7:10 a.m. Two horses reported in road.

Wire down: 200 block of Cloquallum Road, 3:33 p.m. Live power lines down in the driveway. Reporting party believes fallen tree is cause.
