Aug. 18

Abandoned vehicle. 400 block Old Monte Brady Road, Montesano. 6:38 a.m. Gray 4 door Ford Escape – sitting on the side of the road, requests a check. Vehicle is not stolen and appears to have been sitting for a long time somewhere else. Vehicle is parked off of the roadway and on private property at the Grange.

Theft, property, other. First block Blockhouse Road N, Elma. 2:34 p.m. Male subject stealing jewelry and other property from her residence. Also believes he broke in today while she was gone.

Domestic violence/assault. First block Murray Place, Elma. 7:50 p.m. Male hitting reporting party’s friend. Male is victim’s ex-boyfriend. Male is also hitting victim’s mom. History of domestic violence between them. Aid refused. Male lives at location, still on scene and assaulting people. Verbal in background. White male last seen wearing gray shirt, Carhartts and suspenders.

Found property. 400 block State Route 107, Montesano. 8:55 p.m. Found oxygen tank and other miscellaneous items in the driveway – reporting party believes they are stolen.

Aug. 19

Accident/blocking. 300 block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 2:26 a.m. Unknown type of Subaru in the ditch – non-injury – driver came to reporting party’s house and stated she dozed off. The driver of the vehicle is still with the reporting party, will be waiting at the vehicle.

Theft, property, other. 1000 block Monte Elma Road, Elma. 3:40 p.m. Full sized dark green pickup with black tarp on the back – just took off without paying for gas ($49.51 total), unknown direction of travel. Driven by a female, possibly another passenger in the vehicle, unknown further description.

Driving complaint. 300 block Camp Creek Road, Montesano. 10:47 a.m. Impaired female just left on blue moped, heading toward highway on Glenn Road was barely able to walk around yard sale. Last seen wearing printed vest, olive green shorts.

Theft, property, other. 100 block W Broadway, Montesano. 6:03 p.m. ID and debit card stolen, was in Capitol Forest, unknown address.

Aug. 20

Trespass. First block Devonshire Road, Montesano. 5:24 p.m. Several subjects on the bridge jumping down into the river. Reporting party made contact with several subjects on bridge, have been moved along.

Aug. 21

Burglary. First block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 9:59 a.m. Garage broken into, unknown time frame. John Deere mower taken, reporting party is enroute.

Weapons offense. 200 block Cloquallum Road, Elma. 2:39 p.m. Can hear what sounds like machine guns and “bombs.” Also heard single shots. Unknown for sure where it is coming from. Believe coming from south of location.

Domestic violence/assault. First block Paradise Avenue, Malone. 11:20 a.m. Female crying, saying she needs help; someone hurt her. Refusing aid. Suspect saying he kicked her out, female says he hurt her. No weapons seen, one in custody.

Suspicious person/circumstance. First block Mox Chehalis Road, Malone. 6:43 p.m. Several mail boxes being rifled through yesterday. Associated vehicle: ’90s red Honda CRX hatchback. Unit on property detail.

Aug. 22

Suspicious person/circumstance. Central Park Drive at Devonshire Road, Montesano. 1:36 p.m. Requests check on tan Ford Explorer or similar with California plates parked occupied by two subjects for past several hours. Reporting party first saw vehicle at 8 a.m. Vehicle was parked, off the roadway, and engine off. Passenger said they were looking for Wynooche Lake and got lost. Driver advised he had a few beers. Officer advised him not to drive until he was sober. Passenger did not have a license. Warned both of them to not drive. Both stated they understood.

Accident/blocking. 300 block Stamper Road, Elma. 5:07 p.m. Female saying she needed police on Stamper Road, heard another voice then the line disconnected. Is a two vehicle accident. Reporting party says no ambulance needed. Other driver is verbal with reporting party and her son. Son was backing out of the driveway, the other car, traveling at high speed, hit him. Both vehicles removed from roadway.

Trespass. 100 block Powers Creek Road, Elma. 5:07 p.m. Someone has moved into shed at location, no trespassing signs posted on the property. Has possible suspect info, also an issue with a lot of vehicle traffic. Reporting party does not know who owns the property or if the person is supposed to be there.

Aug. 23

Traffic accident, property damage. 500 block Elma Hicklin Road, McCleary. 11:44 a.m. Red-colored pickup with white box hit a power line post, reporting party’s lights flickered, there is a line down. Not collision, truck turned around and pulled down wire/pole. Not hit and run.

Extra patrols. First block Meadow Lark Road, Montesano. 10:56 a.m. Lock to the gate was tampered with since yesterday. Nothing is missing. Unit on other detail. Will be installing cameras.

Aug. 24

Disorderly conduct. First block Devonshire Road, Montesano. 3 p.m. Adults just threw a child off of the bridge, child is ok but they are in a verbal. They are on the gravel bar – 2 males and a female. Child is with 2 females that are arguing near the brush. One of them is reporting party’s girlfriend. No weapons. Request aid for 4-year-old, unknown injuries.

Suspicious person/circumstance. 100 block Keys Road, Elma. 10:50 a.m. Occupied by 2, they were driving on private property. Advised them to get permission.
