July 14

Fraud/swindle/confidence game. First block Clemons Road, Montesano. 10:28 a.m. Someone from Publisher’s Clearing House telling reporting party that she won the sweepstakes and the manager was going to call her soon about it. Stated that she did not enter for this, advised most likely a scam. Just wants to pass on phone numbers.

Animal problem. First block Taylors Ferry Road, Elma. 1:59 p.m. Issue with cattle next door. Family works for a dairy and are raising some of the bull/steer calves from the dairy. When a calf dies they drag the calves out back for disposal which is usually not a problem. However, this time they dumped one. He just wanted to understand the laws prior to doing so.

Malicious mischief. 5000 block State Route 12, Malone. 7:35 p.m. Male with a BB gun shot reporting party’s bike tire. He didn’t know who it was but that he was a “druggie.” There was some kind of plinking noise while the reporting party was riding his bike past the location. No one was seen with a BB gun and no witnesses. No damage to anything.

July 15

Theft from vehicle. 1000 block State Route 12, Montesano. 11:22 a.m. Vehicle broken into sometime last night, items taken. Reporting party has suspect info per security camera. Reporting party not on scene at this time. Transient in Montesano wearing pink American Eagle sweatshirt, pajama shorts grey with paw prints.

Noise complaint. 1000 block State Route 12, Montesano. 11:28 p.m. Loud music again recalling – is quiet now. Reporting party opened her blinds watching them. Is upset they made hand gestures toward her and called her names. No longer needing a response.

Trespass. First block Enterprise Lane, Satsop. 3:36 a.m. Keep getting Pokémon players trespassing and giving him “lip.” Currently all subjects are leaving. Red BMW and Nissan Sentra.

July 16

Suspicious person/circumstance. 500 block Monte Elma Road, Montesano. 3:27 p.m. One male and one female in reporting party’s front yard. Male has a bike – dancing around. Female in pink shirt. Now heading towards Brady Store. Believe they are under the influence.

Disorderly contact. 500 block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 4:40 p.m. Loud verbal. Reporting party wants male to leave. Temporarily living with reporting party because he just got out of jail. Nothing physical yet. No known weapons. Both parties inside the house. Lots of noise in the background. Both staying on scene but separated.

July 17

Agency assist. First block Capitol B Line, Oakville. 8:35 p.m. Large fire – Larger than 10 feet by 10 feet. Believe it is in camp space. Reporting party is not there. Unknown if anyone is injured. There are trees on fire. Generator exploded and started a fire. Two or three propane tanks in center of the flames. It’s spreading to the woods. On scene, the propane tanks are hissing.

Harassment. 1000 block South Bank Road, Oakville. 10:49 a.m. Ongoing problem with neighbors intentionally hitting golf balls at the reporting party’s cows.

Theft, property, other. 6000 State Route 12, Oakville. 4:44 p.m. Reporting party arrived home to find shop has been burglarized. There is damage. Occurred past few days. Request contact.

Extra patrols. 300 block Williams Creek Road, Oakville. 5:09 p.m. Request extra patrols due to ATVs running up/down the road at high rate. Ongoing problem.

Lost property. First block Porter Creek Road W, Oakville. 2:44 p.m. Lost wallet at location with $70 cash, Social Security card and ID in it. No contact for reporting party.

July 18

Animal-dangerous dog. 500 block Williams Creek Road, Oakville. 7:52 p.m. Neighbor’s dogs killing reporting party’s cats. Four killed in the last three weeks, last one within the hour. Believes neighbor runs a puppy mill. Reporting party is very upset and in tears. En route shortly.

July 19

Fraud/swindle/confidence game. First block Courtney Lane, Montesano. 2:52 p.m. Someone selling magazines saying it is for college education. Reporting party wrote a $60 check and now believes her information will be stolen. Reporting party said the magazines she ordered were supposed to go in care packages overseas to the Army and Navy. She was not going to receive any of the magazines. It appears this was a legitimate transaction and nothing fraudulent at this time.

Malicious mischief. 500 block N 12 Street, Elma. 8:18 p.m. Street, mailbox and neighbor’s truck spray painted. Occurred overnight. No suspect information.

July 20

Animal problem. First block County Farm Road, Montesano. 8:49 a.m. Two large dogs charged at reporting party and almost attacked him. Concerned because they were aggressive. Black lab and a bulldog/Saint Bernard-type dog.

Malicious mischief. 200 block Devonshire Road, Montesano. 3:36 p.m. Vehicle window broken out and mirror damaged this morning. No suspect.

Suspicious person/circumstance. Lambert Road at Wakefield Road, Elma. 8:11 a.m. Noticed a milk jug right before the bridge if coming from Elma. It’s filled with an odd substance. Reporting party was afraid to check it. Spoiled milk.

July 21

Trespass. First block Twidwell Road, Elma. 4:11 p.m. Two people down by creek on reporting party’s property, heard only. Reporting party wants them removed. Out with the reporting party — clearing shortly. Subjects left prior to arrival.

Suspicious person/circumstance. Abbott Road at South Union Road, Elma. 7:55 p.m. Ongoing problem with hypodermic needles being left in the area. Possibly a black jeep making drug exchange and have children with them. Unknown further. Recalling, wanting to advise the subjects were trespassing on private property.

Disorderly conduct. First block Murray Place, Elma. 9:31 p.m. Someone outside, drinking and kicking reporting party’s things. Reporting party not very cooperative. Occurred approximately 15 minutes ago.

Driving complaint. First block Butler Mill Road, Elma. 4:17 p.m. Requests area check, newer black SUV, high rate of speed, approximately 40-60 miles per hour. Last seen westbound towards State Route 12 past few minutes. Ongoing problem with reckless vehicles in the area.

July 22

Extra patrols. First block Schouweiler Road, Elma. 10:09 p.m. Requests extra patrols tonight as reporting party lost set of keys to his large Ford Dually today at location. Concerned someone may come and take it overnight.

Noise complaint. First block Delaney Lane, Elma. 11:19 p.m. Requests quiet of loud party. All quiet, nothing heard in area.

Animal – dangerous dog. First block Brittan Road, Montesano. 12:59 p.m. Dog was attacked by a pit bull a few days ago. Reporting party reporting for his mother. Boston terrier/beagle mix, 26 pounds.

Abandoned vehicle. 300 block Minkler Road, Montesano. 1:51 p.m. Requests check of an abandoned vehicle just east of location. Red Honda car. Appears to have been rolled, is partially blocking. Hood on the vehicle says free.

Theft, property, other. 1000 block East Satsop Road, Satsop. 4:39 p.m. Requests contact. Theft of multiple items from property. Unknown suspect.

July 23

Extra patrols. First block Murray Place, Elma. 2:52 p.m. Shovels taken sometime while reporting party was away. Shed was entered some time during that time frame. Property is posted “no trespassing.” Unsure if shovels were in shed or not.

Civil dispute. 100 block Mox Chehalis Road, Malone. 8:02 p.m. Neighbor shooting a gun. Has a target on his own property but is shooting towards reporting party’s property as the back stop. Subjects were yelling obscenities towards reporting party’s wife. She felt threatened. Parties both on their own properties. Neighbors went home. Laid on horn for a minute and a half and driving very slowly.

Weapons offense. 1000 block South Bank Road, Oakville. 9:07 p.m. Can hear gunshots close to the house. Heard 10 shots past one minute. Is not rapid fire but single shots. Reporting party is on 400 acres. Can’t tell what direction it is coming from, is rattling her windows.

Domestic violence. First block Hurd Road, Satsop. 2:45 p.m. Reporting party’s sister tried to run reporting party over with her white 4-door Honda as she left southbound Hurd past five. Sister has history of domestic violence. Aid refused. No weapons. Both live on the scene.

Traffic offense. State Route 12 mile post 17 eastbound, Satsop. 7:30 p.m. Reckless vehicle. Requests to see if Wash. State Patrol has unit to assist. Disregarding, lost sight of them. Looked like dark Audi, possibly 90 plus miles per hour, in and out of traffic.

Animal lost and found. 200 block Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 1:20 p.m. Male black German shepherd with a floppy ear jumped out of vehicle. Was wearing a red collar. No need for call/contact. Jumped out of reporting party’s vehicle. Dog has been located.

July 24

Domestic violence. First block Filly Lane, Elma. 6:47 a.m. Neighbors throwing things, screaming. Audible to call taker. Neighbor yelled at reporting party to call the police. Last seen on foot in the fairgrounds area, no direction of travel.

Disorderly conduct. First block Murray Place, Elma. 9:20 a.m. Requests contact. Verbal confrontation with boyfriend. Their three children are also there. No weapons. Female was going to leave for work when the male told her he was going to call the police and tell them she left her kids alone at the residence. Reporting party was leaving the children with the male, their father. Had no intention of leaving them alone.

Fire. First block Evans Lane, Elma. 11:42 a.m. Believe residence is on fire. Smoke coming from location and can hear fire alarm. No flames yet.

Animal – neglect. First block South Union Road, Elma. 1:03 p.m. Saw neighbor hitting his black pit bull mix with a belt. Has seen him kick him in the past. Associated vehicle is an older gray pickup with a stripe down the side. Will check when in area. Admitted to spanking the dog but did not strike dog to hurt her. Dog was in trouble for running away.

Disorderly conduct. 100 block Strawberry Hill Road, Elma. 10:44 p.m. Male on the property, hiding in the bushes, screaming profanity. He was at the bottom of driveway and threw a rock at reporting party’s vehicle as she pulled up. Unknown if damaged yet. White male, blonde hair, shirtless, jean shorts, no weapons. Believes he is very confused, is walking down the road, possibly under the influence and staggering around trying to find his house.

Suspicious person/circumstance. 400 block State Route 108, McCleary. 2:37 a.m. Female jumping up and down with a flashlight, saw a male come running out of the abandoned residence. Believe they appeared to know each other. Female was along shoulder of roadway.

Fireworks. 6000 block State Route 12, Oakville. 10:14 p.m. Subjects from location shooting off fireworks again. Is an ongoing problem.

Animal-neglect. 1200 block Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 7:20 p.m. Requests check of location. Ten dogs and additional animals that are not being cared for. No water.
