Lois Ann (Fry) Pinger, 77, on Oct. 16, 2016, Lois left to find a special place with God. Lois was born July 2, 1939, to Harry and Elva Fry in Aberdeen.

She grew up in Cosmopolis and went through grade school there. She then attended high school in Aberdeen, graduating in 1957 from Weatherwax High. During high school she worked at Montgomery Ward catalog store.

After a short time at Grays Harbor College she married her first love, Raymond Pinger on Jan. 31, 1958, in Cosmopolis.

Her first child, Patricia was born in 1959 and her second child, Michael was born in 1962. During this time Lois worked at JC Penny store in Aberdeen. When both children became school age, she drove a school bus for seven years. When Patricia graduated high school she and Lois both went to college in Olympia where Lois got an Associate Degree in accounting. This proved very valuable later when she and her husband purchased the Union Oil dealership in Hoquiam, which they ran for more than eight years. She then worked a short time for the Transit in Centralia as a bookkeeper before retiring.

After more than 58 years of marriage she finally lost her 4 year battle with cancer and a stroke.

She is survived by her husband Raymond; a daughter, Patricia; a son, Michael; her granddaughter, Mikaela; a brother, Steven Fry; a sister, Linda Barre; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

A graveside service and interment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Cosmopolis, Wash.

Direction is by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam.
