Jerilyn Radonski, longtime resident of Montesano, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Feb. 4, 2018. She was born Jan. 17, 1953, with a congenital heart defect and a feisty soul which defied all odds, giving her life for a full 65 years. Having been a patient of the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital, she went on to become a member of the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital Guild and president of the Montesano Chapter. She volunteered at Beacon Elementary School for 20 years, was an active member of the Montesano Church of God and Montesano Moose Lodge. Jerilyn also enjoyed bowling at Monte Lanes where she also served as the secretary of her bowling league. Jerilyn was a caretaker at heart and her cats were the love of her life.

Jerilyn is survived by her three older sisters, Cheryl Parker (John), Arlene Holmes (Denny) and Cathy Nixon (Doug), Aunt Dottie Radonski, six nieces and nephews, along with nine great-nieces and nephews. She was loved by all, including long-time friend Glen Vance, brother-in-law Bill Brown, and her close group of local friends ‘The Friday Girls’, who all added immense joy to her life. Jerilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Rosemary Radonski.

Jerilyn’s family would like to thank all of those who gave her care and companionship over the years. She was always thankful for those in her life.
