The life and memory of Carl Jonsson will be celebrated by friends, family and loved ones at a ceremony to be held at the Elma High School Gym on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 1 p.m. A potluck will be held after in the High School Commons.

Jonsson passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, in Olympia at the age of 55.

A 25 year employee of the Grays Harbor PUD, Jonsson was a proud resident of Elma and was heavily involved in the Grays Harbor community, serving on the Elma School Board and working with the United Way, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and several other community organizations.

Funeral arrangements are being made through the Harrison Family Mortuary.
