Brendan Edward McCarroll, 51, of Thornton, Colo. died Oct. 25, 2018. Brendan was born May 16, 1967, in Plainfield, N.J. to Rod McCarroll and Tina McCarroll.

Brendan spent his childhood in Cranford, N.J. and Montesano, Wash. After graduating from Montesano High School in 1985, he moved to San Diego, Calif., and worked numerous jobs throughout his life. He spent many years working for US Foods and most recently enjoyed being a home caregiver. Brendan was a proud gay, Irish-American who had many passions, which brought him much joy. His number one was his great-nephew, Aidan. He was a voracious reader and talented artist, and was full of love for people and all of nature.

Brendan is survived by five siblings; Colleen (Tom) Stahl, Sean (Debbie), Brian, Kelly (Mike) Olden and Kevin; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at the home of Mike and Kelly Olden. Please contact oldens@icloud.com for directions. A private inurnment will take place after the celebration of life. Friends and family are all invited to a celebration.
